    North is the top of the picture. The farm was on Purchase Street, which runs throught the top left of the picture.

    To the right of the long barn, was the 6 stall barn. The fences of the 7 different paddocks do not show up here clearly.

    Much of the half mile track can be easily seen. The track was a complete oval, but much of the track is hidden by the shadow of the trees. The track provides 4 acres of useable area for the recreation of horses.

    Just south of the track is the entrance to Rocky Gutter State Park, for 3,000 acres of trails to ride

    Just west of the track is the lies 3,000 acres of protected land including Rocky Gutter State Park, for trails to ride
  • Lighning the miniature horse

    He just got up from a nap. This is his winter coat. Picture taken in January 2006. We did not blanket him that year. In the spring, his hair is much neater. He sheds out wonderfully.
